Welcome to the PROZEE Techno Service page on properly securing your cargo. Here you will find a detailed step-by-step guide to ensure that the products are delivered safely, undamaged and in perfect condition to the customer.
Ensure that the beams underneath the product are as wide as the product itself. This will prevent the product from bending when secured.
The beams will be fastened by our staff using bolts. There is a chance that these bolts may be slightly loose after being placed on the truck. Therefore, check before departure to ensure they are securely tightened.
Try to assist the forklift driver as much as possible when placing the cargo on the truck. To ensure proper weight distribution, the product should extend equally on both sides of the vehicle.
DO NOT use pallets to level the front part of the cargo. Only a block should be used for this purpose, as shown below.
Make sure there is a protective mat underneath and/or against the side of the product to prevent damage.
After placing all products on the truck, it is important to double-check all bolts. They must be securely tightened before departure.
The products should only be fastened at the bottom in each corner. If they are secured at the top, there is a risk that the steel will bend and warp. Below this text, you can see the correct way to secure them. Be sure to use corner protectors as well.
If the product is not secured properly, damage may occur. If you skip these steps, you will see what happens to the product.
The same rules apply to large loads as to other loads.
Use protective mats and secure the products well from underneath.
